The MENA Canada Filmmaking Grant returns for its second year!
Thank you to everyone who applied to our inaugural MENA Canada Filmmaking grant in 2021. Also, a special shoutout to Daniel D. Negatu, whose winning film “Harem” debuted at the opening ceremony of the 2021 MENA Film Festival and went on to be awarded the audience choice for best short film of the year.
With last year’s huge wins, we’re back again to award a second Canadian production with the seed funds to create a film for the MENA/SWANA community in Canada to be screened at the 2022 MENA Film Festival. Read on for information on the grant and how to submit!
